Reviews
I ordered a pair of binoculars from JachtXL, but received a different pair. That can happen, so I contacted them immediately and returned the product using their return label. According to them, the correct binoculars would be sent to me afterwards.
When I returned from vacation two weeks later, it turned out that nothing had been sent at all. After contacting them again, I was eventually only told that the purchase amount would be refunded.
A few months later, I tried again anyway. First, I emailed to ask if the binoculars were in stock; according to them, they were. Then I ordered again… and received the wrong binoculars again.
Exactly the same problem twice.
It turned out there was a mistake in the warehouse; that can happen once in a while. I was contacted quickly and everything was resolved properly. I was allowed to keep the product I received (read: better product) without paying extra!! Super service!!
Professional & customer-oriented
Update 22/10: After some back and forth, I was told I would get my money back *and* my order would be shipped that same week. So, a consolation prize. My money was neatly in my account the very next day. Still haven't seen the product and I don't expect to anymore haha. All's well that ends well, more or less. I guess.
I've been waiting for 7 days already without knowing how far along they are with shipping.
I am trying to make contact by phone, but I am unable to.
I received a call back the same day and got it quickly; the owner was willing to accommodate me, so I am very satisfied!
